Directory Pairs
Duplicate files often occur when a directory has been duplicated. This could be for a backup, or while one is working on certain files. It can also happen when files or directories have been renamed. An example is shown below.
In the above eample the first lines shows photos from July 2013, but they also exist is another directory, but July is now 07. The matching count is the number of identical files.
Why is this useful?
It is very useful to know where files have been duplicated, but which ones does one delete. By showing were the files are grouped, ofen in similar directories, the choide of which is remove (if any) becomes easier. By sorting on the Matching county colum, the largest directories can be handled first.
