AI LLM (Large Language Models) might be used to summerise files. To run a local model has several problems, such as
Installing the software, many libraries required
The software foot print - we are talking about tens if GBs for even small models
PC power - it works best with a very power graphics card
Even with high spec PC, it can be VERY slow
Cloud models are not free when required to do unlimited processing.
At the moment, the benefits do not justify the time taken, but many projects start like this.
